About this Program
The Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering (MSME) graduate program will give you the opportunity to conduct research in the most current areas of the field. Choose from a thesis-based or project-based plan, in which you will conduct original research. Focus areas include:
- Thermo/Fluids
- Materials/Manufacturing
- Dynamics/Control
- Mechanical design and analysis

This degree is intended for students with a research emphasis. There are two options for completing an MSME degree, a thesis option (Plan A) and a project option (Plan B).
