About this Program
The Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (TLHE) graduate (also called postbaccalaureate) certificate program is intended for individuals who interact with adult learners in settings within higher education. Candidates for the TLHE certificate will develop skills in understanding adult learners’ needs, creating effective learning environments (including online and hybrid learning experiences), planning high quality learning opportunities, and evaluating their teaching and student learning.
This program does not lead to teacher licensure.

- Apply knowledge and skills related to adult learning to a variety of settings
- Create an inclusive online learning environment
- Critically examine curricular issues and strategies
Requirements
