About This Program
Previously known as Environmental & Outdoor Education, the Outdoor Learning & Recreation minor provides experiential and field-based coursework relating to the broad field of outdoor and environmental education. You are familiarized with outdoor education settings such as nature centers, city, state, or national parks, or commercial agencies in the area of health and wellness.
The recreation-outdoor education minor is a scholarly and professional compliment to a wide variety of disciplines, such as psychology, biology, and environmental studies.
Scholarships
Current students in CEHSP may be eligible for both merit-based and need-based scholarships. More than 100 scholarships are available each academic year.
