About this Program
The special education minor gives you the knowledge and skills to work with children with disabilities and can supplement other coursework or majors. The coursework provides the foundations, theories, characteristics, and legal issues related to special education. Those who complete this minor may apply the course work to special education licensure; however, the special education minor alone does not qualify you for licensure in the State of Minnesota.
