No! Undeclared at UMD is our largest ‘major’ on campus! The College of Education and Human Service Professions, College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, and Swenson College of Science & Engineering all have undeclared options.
Is there a test that will tell me my perfect major?
Personality, interest, and career assessments are tools that can be helpful for discovering and exploring options, but there is no one test that will point you to a ‘perfect’ major. Use a combination of what you know about yourself, inventory results, the tools on this site, conversations with an advisor or career counselor, trying new things, and researching options to help you narrow your choices
